It's a great thing to be excited about what you do in the world. I can't tell you how good it feels to wake up five o'clock every morning and get right to work at my own artificial house plants shop.
It wasn't always like that though. Back before I started on the artificial house plants I had a few jobs that I could just not stand a minute of. I reckon we've all had our fair share of that. What it boils down to is that you have a wife and some young ones to support so you do what you've got to do by them. But I never did give up on this dream.
Now that I'm retired from the mill, and the kids are grown, I've got all the time I need to help folks out with some artificial house plants. I reckon what I'm trying to say is that dreams are a great thing to have, and that you've got to see yours through. Even if it takes you a while to get there. But getting there always does you some good.
I know having this artificial house plants shop has been powerful good for me. Truth be told, I could never see myself really retired, anyway. I never much took to just sitting around. Though I have been known to enjoy a good pipe in my favorite rocking chair from time to time. But there's only so much rocking a man can rightly do. My daddy taught me that a long time ago. He always used to say that he earned his rocking. I guess I just wouldn't feel right about it if I didn't earn my own rocking through artificial house plants.
